Old Cowboys to tell the weather just by whether or not the mesquite trees had leaves on them or not. That ol hardy bush is said not to bud out until after the last freeze in West Texas.
I have always loved the beauty of the change of seasons although we don’t have much of that living here in West Texas. Sometimes it feels we can all get four seasons in the same day.
Mason Server might know a little about those changes of the seasons though.. He probably read it in a book or saw it on the TV screen.. but either way… Mason and the Gin Line released new music today. In Leaves of Fall, he compares the seasons to a relationship.
It’s part of our makeup everything changes at some point and that is really okay, I just hope and pray that I am changing for the better.
This single is the latest release in a set of new songs for an entire Gin Line album. The song features another West Texas songwriter- Tori Vasquez. If you are lucky enough to live near Lubbock you may have already heard the song as it’s had some air play a few times on country radio. The tune is now live on All streaming platforms. So go grab it on your iTunes or Spotify ASAP.
I am the original Mason and the Gin Line fan. I consider the band to be good friends and sometimes they even feel more like a family. I am sure excited to see these guys accomplishing big things and seeing that dreams really can come true.
Support your local songwriter and the love of the music.
