Singer and Songwriter Joshua Hedley‘s music has been described as a 60’s throw back. Which he believes was the best era in country music. Hedley’s latest album, Neon Blue released today April 22, 2022. This morning I first streamed his cover of the Roger Miller song, “River in the Rain.”
Hedley, originally from Naples, Florida is a country music singer, a songwriter and a violinist. When he was only 3 years old, he asked his parents to get him his first fiddle. By age 12 he was picking with musicians down at the local VFW.
Rolling Stone said about Hedley that he’s got a voice that could sing a phone book. His Neon Blue album is no exception. I can hear those old school sounds throughout the album that make me want to be sliding across some saw dusted dance floor.
