South Texas Tweek first released his song Count on Me in 2020. A love song he penned while working nights in a refinery. In 2021 he released 50 dollars a week, a song he wrote with Charley Crockett and Vincent Neil Emerson. He also released the song New Tatoos as a single in 2021 and it has been his most popular and highest charted recording.
Tweek is relatively new in the Texas Music Scene yet his music has that Honky Tonk sound from days gone by. The South Texas Tweek gets his name from the fact that he lives in South Texas. Brazoria County is where this artist calls home and Tweek comes from a nick name he was given after being diagnosed with Tourette’s at a young age. Before finding his niche in country music, Tweek spent some time doing rap music. I for one am glad he made his way into a style of music that I enjoy.
Tweek has recently reported that he is going to drop some new music soon and is currently seeking to fund a complete album. Support this cause by continuing to stream his tunes, catching one of his shows, and buying his merchandise.
I got to see one of his shows and hang out with him in Lubbock a few months back and hopefully will do it again soon.
