Ben Jarrell has been turning tales and tuning guitars since his earliest memories. Growing up on the Far Eastern side of Alabama he knew what a good country song was supposed to sound like.

I was honored when Ben reached out the other day and sent me some new tunes to listen to. As her personal web page describes her Anna Wescoat is a “One Woman Band.”

Together with Ben Jarrell and a handful of others, Wescoat took her one woman band to the lights of Nashville. Magic began to unfold at Riverfront Studios. Anna Wescoat has recorded an album that could fit right in to a playlist of country gold.

Anna’s country voice reminds me of the likes of Dolly Parton or Dottie West. She has learned to play over 20 instruments and plays them all well. She writes her own songs and tells a story with the best of them.

Ben Jarrell, producer of the album World Famous says it is to be unveiled on October 18th. The album features 10 songs of Wescoat’s. Six of those 10 were co-written with Jarrell. Jarell is also featured on most all of the tracks with his guitar and backup vocals.

Pat Lassiter Engineered and provided his expert experience in the mixing and mastering of the album.

Wescoat’s voice and an all star cast of musical talent made this whole album fun to listen to. Mark your calendars and Look forward to its release Mid October. I know you guys will think it’s something special too , the very day it drops into your own sound space.
